These terms apply to artificial turf cleaning provided by Lumon Turf Cleaning LLC. For window cleaning, solar panel cleaning, gutter cleaning, pressure washing, holiday lighting, and all other services, see the Lumon Cleaning Terms & Conditions.
These Terms and Conditions govern artificial turf cleaning services provided by Lumon Turf Cleaning LLC ("Lumon Turf Cleaning," "we," "us," or "our"). By accepting an estimate, scheduling service, or allowing work to be performed, you ("the customer") acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these terms.
Lumon Turf Cleaning provides artificial turf cleaning, deodorizing, sanitizing, brushing, and debris removal. The specific services to be performed are those described in your estimate or work order.
Estimates are based on the property details and conditions described to us at the time of quoting. If conditions found on site differ materially from what was described, such as significantly larger turf area, heavy waste accumulation, or embedded debris, we will notify you and obtain your approval before performing additional work or charging additional amounts. You are never charged more than your estimate without your approval.
Payment is due upon completion of services unless otherwise agreed in writing. If an invoice remains unpaid, we may suspend further service and may recover reasonable collection costs actually incurred, to the extent permitted by law.
We ask that cancellations and reschedules be made at least 24 hours before your scheduled appointment so we can offer the slot to another customer. We do not charge a cancellation fee.
If you sign up for recurring service, we will schedule visits automatically at the agreed frequency. You may change the frequency, skip a visit, or cancel recurring service at any time by contacting us. We will confirm any change in writing.
The customer agrees to provide safe and unobstructed access to all turf areas, including gates, side yards, and water sources. Lumon Turf Cleaning is not responsible for delays or incomplete service caused by locked access, obstructions, furniture or equipment left on the turf, or conditions that prevent safe work.
The customer agrees to provide access to a working water source if required for the service. Lumon Turf Cleaning is not responsible for issues arising from pre-existing plumbing conditions, irregular water pressure, or defective spigots and hose bibs, except to the extent caused by our own negligence.
Services may be rescheduled due to weather, extreme heat, or conditions we reasonably determine to be unsafe. We will contact you to arrange a new date as soon as practical, and rescheduling for these reasons is never charged.
Lumon Turf Cleaning is not responsible for pre-existing conditions that exist before we begin work, including but not limited to:

We use professional grade equipment and treatments, and we work to get the best result the turf will allow. Results vary with the age, quality, and condition of the turf, and some conditions cannot be fully corrected by surface cleaning. We do not guarantee complete removal of:
Cleaning agents, sanitizers, and deodorizers may be used during service. We select products intended for use around pets and children and follow label directions. Please tell us in advance about any known allergies or sensitivities, or about sensitive plantings adjacent to the turf, so we can adjust our approach. A mild residual scent immediately following treatment is normal and dissipates as the area dries.
The customer agrees to keep pets and children off treated areas during service and for the drying period we advise at the time of service, typically one to two hours. This is important, and following it is the customer's responsibility.
Effective cleaning involves brushing, agitation, and controlled water pressure. As a normal part of this process, the service may temporarily alter the appearance or nap of the turf, shift or redistribute infill material, or reveal pre-existing wear, seam separation, or installation defects that were not visible beforehand. Revealing an existing condition is not the same as causing it.
Persistent or recurring odor is most often caused by drainage limitations or contamination in the base layer beneath the turf, which surface cleaning cannot reach. Lumon Turf Cleaning is not responsible for odors that return due to sub-surface conditions. Where we identify this, we will tell you honestly rather than sell you repeat service that will not solve it.
If you are not satisfied with our work, contact us within 48 hours of service and we will return to address the issue at no additional charge where the concern is within the scope of the service performed. This 48 hour window applies to our satisfaction guarantee only. It does not limit any rights you may have under applicable law, including for property damage or injury.
Lumon Turf Cleaning carries commercial general liability insurance. A certificate of insurance is available on request, before service, at no cost to you.
Except for liability arising from our own negligence or willful misconduct, and except where limitation is prohibited by law, Lumon Turf Cleaning's total liability for any claim arising out of a service is limited to the amount paid for that service. Nothing in these terms limits our responsibility for bodily injury or property damage caused by our negligence or willful misconduct, and claims of that kind are addressed through our general liability insurance.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Lumon Turf Cleaning is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including loss of use, loss of business, or diminution in property value.
Turf cleaning involves water, cleaning products, and equipment in use, and treated surfaces may be slippery until dry. Except for injuries caused by Lumon Turf Cleaning's negligence or willful misconduct, we are not responsible for injuries to homeowners, tenants, guests, or other third parties occurring during or after service. Please keep people and pets clear of the work area and observe the drying period.
The customer agrees to maintain a safe working environment for our staff. We reserve the right to decline, pause, or stop work if conditions are unsafe, and we will discuss alternatives with you if that happens.
The customer is responsible for disclosing known hazards before service. The customer may be responsible for injury or damage caused by:
All pets must be secured before service begins. Gates may be opened during service. Lumon Turf Cleaning is not responsible for escaped pets or animal related incidents, except to the extent caused by our own negligence.
By accepting service, the customer grants Lumon Turf Cleaning permission to photograph and record video of the serviced areas of the property for documentation and marketing purposes, including social media, website content, advertising and promotional materials, and before and after comparisons.
We will not publish your full address, your name, or other personal identifying information without your explicit consent.
This permission is royalty free. You may decline photography before service, or withdraw your permission at any time afterward, by emailing us. On withdrawal we will stop using the images going forward and remove them from channels we control, though we may be unable to recall materials already printed or reshared by others.
If you provide your phone number, you consent to receive phone calls and text messages from Lumon Turf Cleaning about your inquiry, quote, and services. Message frequency varies, and message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time, or HELP for help. We do not sell your information, and no mobile information is shared with third parties for marketing. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
We would much rather solve a problem directly. Please contact us first, and we will make a genuine effort to resolve any concern informally.
If we cannot, any dispute arising out of or relating to these terms or our services will be resolved by binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association under its Consumer Arbitration Rules, rather than in court, except as stated below. Arbitration will take place in Fresno County, California, or may be conducted by telephone, video, or written submission at the customer's election. Lumon Turf Cleaning will pay all arbitration filing and administrative fees that exceed what it would cost you to file the same claim in California small claims court.
Small claims exception. Either party may bring an individual claim in small claims court instead of arbitration, if the claim qualifies.
Individual claims only. Claims must be brought in an individual capacity, and not as a plaintiff or class member in any class, collective, or representative proceeding. If this restriction is found unenforceable as to a particular claim, that claim will proceed in court and the remainder of this section will continue to apply to all other claims.
Your right to opt out. You may opt out of this arbitration section by emailing turf@lumoncleaning.com with your name and service address within 30 days of first accepting these terms. Opting out will not affect your service, pricing, or scheduling in any way.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California. Subject to the arbitration section above, the parties agree to venue in the state or federal courts located in Fresno County, California.
We may update these terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date above reflects the most recent version. The terms in effect on the date your service is scheduled are the terms that apply to that service. Changes are not applied retroactively.
If any provision of these terms is found unenforceable, that provision will be limited or removed to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will continue in full force. Our failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver of our right to enforce it later.
These terms, together with your estimate or work order, form the entire agreement between you and Lumon Turf Cleaning regarding the services described, and supersede any prior discussions or representations on the same subject.
By accepting an estimate, scheduling service, or allowing work to be performed, the customer acknowledges having read and agreed to these terms.
